Born in Yorkshire, England in 1956, I've always had an interest in photography. My first paid photographic engagement was for a school for the blind in Sheffield in 1973. Since then I've concentrated on my career in IT and more recently as a stained glass artist. I still enjoy photography and get a real thrill out of manipulating images electronically. Thankyou for your comment. This was the first photograph that I really went to town on, I spent several hours creating different layers eventually merging them all to give this final image. You can see some of the layers on the following webpage http://www.digitalart.glosnet.com/prof.htm
